Dear Friend,
The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors have set a hearing for Tuesday, May 6th at 9:00 am to consider adopting a mandatory spay and neuter ordinance very similar to AB 1634.
I urge everyone to contact Santa Barbara County Supervisors (

and tell them mandatory pet sterilization will force the county to spend millions more taxpayer dollars and result in more animals being relinquished to shelters, more dogs being euthanized and pet licenses and fees will plummet.
PetPAC is fighting battles on many fronts; Assembly Member Lloyd Levine is preparing to once again push AB 1634, the statewide mandatory pet sterilization bill, in the coming weeks and his supporters are feverishly trying to convince local governments like Santa Barbara County to approve unworkable, expensive and unenforceable AB 1634 clones.
Attend the meeting with me in Santa Barbara on Tuesday morning, your presence is crucial to show strength of our opposition.
Thank you for your support. (

Sincerely,
Bill Hemby
Chairman
P.S. With your continued support PetPAC will help defeat AB 1634 and continue our work to defeat local mandatory sterilization laws.
